BIRD BOXES: Collaborative development on Rivergate Square, Barking

As a part finished development, Barking Riverside has many boundaries between ongoing building work and flagship public facilities. Our ongoing work in Barking has seen an opportunity to work collaboratively with local residents to transform a 120 metre grey plywood fence into an interactive asset to the local community.
Two sides of the square are separated from the building site beyond by protective hoarding. This is the first evidence of progress - 100 bird boxes made by local young people adorn the wall, (hopefully) attracting wildlife.
